From 30% to 40% CO2 reduction in 2020
According to the UN's climate panel, if we are to avoid disastrous climate changes, countries like Denmark have to reduce their greenhouse gas emissions by 40% in 2020 compared to the 2000-level.
CONCITO has calculated if this reduction is feasible and what it would cost and the answer is clear:
It is easily possible and will cost an average family an additional DKK 500 a year on the energy bill corresponding to an annual increase of the energy bill from DKK 24.000 to DKK 24.500.
