8 December: Thinking Together: International knowledge on Cities and Climate

INVITATION
In CONCITOs Future Cities Program, “Thinking Together” events are held four times a year hosted by group chairman Jørgen Abildgaard, Head of the Climate Secretariat at the City of Copenhagen.

We have invited three of CONCITO’s strategic and collaboration partners to give us an introduction to their work, focus areas and analysis they have spearheaded or contributed to.

The webinar format will be an introduction to the theme followed by three presentations and dialogue – hence Thinking Together – between the three speakers and the participants. The webinar will be held in English.

1. “The Future of Cities After COVID-19” by Leo Horn-Phathanothai, Director for Strategy and Partnerships at WRI Ross Center for Sustainable Cities
2. "Thriving Cities - how to downscale Doughnut Economics to city level" by Julia Lipton, Head of Thriving Cities at C40 Cities
3. “Urban Resilience: urban policies and actions at the time of crisis” by Nicola Tollin, Professor wsr inUrban Resilience at University of Southern Denmark

THINKING TOGETHER
The idea with Thinking Together webinars is to create a room for dialogue and mutual learning on climate-related issues. Here, a selected circle of experts, stakeholders and decision makers meet informally to exchange knowledge and ideas. Thinking Together events follow the Chatham House Rules, where knowledge and thoughts can only be used for background knowledge and not quoted.
