CONCITO is co-organizing two events at New York Climate Week 2023.

From Nordic to Global Stocktakes and visions

Pre-launch of the Nordic Stocktake and Visions project.

The project “Nordic Stocktake and Visions - Pathways to Climate Neutrality” investigates how far the Nordic region has come on the path towards climate neutrality and the gaps still remaining. It also spurs dialogue on visions for the future and how to speed up solutions to bridge existing gaps. This event brings together high-level policy makers and sectors in transition from the Nordics to discuss Nordic and global visions, challenges and solutions on the paths towards climate neutrality. 

The event will be followed by dialogue and networking lunch for all participants, 12.45-13.30 The event is part of the Danish Consulate’s Sustainability Summit NYC and will be filmed for the Nordic Council of Ministry website. Please note: Registration is required to enter the Chrysler Building.

Headway for adaptation

High-level roundtable dialogue

The adaptation finance gap is growing with devastating effects in countries around the world. There is a need to bring climate adaptation higher up on the political agenda and to deliver on the COP26 target of doubling adaptation finance. The purpose of this roundtable conversation is to explore approaches for closing the climate adaptation finance gap.

  • Which solutions and initiatives are needed to close the climate adaptation finance gap?
  • What outcome do we need from COP28 to enable and promote initiatives to close the climate adaptation finance gap?
